- 16 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded

- 4 cups marinara sauce

- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste

Instructions
- Brown the meat: Heat a skillet over medium flame, add ground beef or sausage, chopped onions, and minced garlic. Cook until browned and onions are translucent; drain excess fat.
- Layer the ingredients: In the slow cooker, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce, break lasagna noodles into pieces, and layer in the order: ricotta cheese, meat mixture, mozzarella cheese.
- Season the top: Sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper on the final layer.
- Cook on low heat: Cover and let it cook for 4-6 hours until noodles are tender and cheese is melted.
