Description

A comforting and effortless slow cooker lasagna layered with creamy ricotta, savory ground beef, and melty mozzarella, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 16 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef (or sausage)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the meat: Heat a skillet over medium flame, add ground beef or sausage, chopped onions, and minced garlic. Cook until browned and onions are translucent; drain excess fat.
  2. Layer the ingredients: In the slow cooker, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce, break lasagna noodles into pieces, and layer in the order: ricotta cheese, meat mixture, mozzarella cheese.
  3. Season the top: Sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper on the final layer.
  4. Cook on low heat: Cover and let it cook for 4-6 hours until noodles are tender and cheese is melted.
  5. Serve and savor: Let it cool for a few minutes, scoop servings, and enjoy!

Notes
