Delightful puff pastry bites filled with creamy Camembert cheese, topped with tart cranberry jam and fresh rosemary.

- 1 roll of puff pastry
- 1 egg
- 125g of Camembert
- Pepper to taste
- Cranberry jam
- Fresh rosemary
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Slice the Camembert into 16 even pieces.
- Whisk the egg in a bowl until blended well to use as an egg wash.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface until evenly thin and cut into 16 equal squares.
- Assemble the bites by placing one slice of Camembert on each square.
- Brush the edges of each pastry square with the egg wash for a good seal.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and cool slightly. Top each bite with cranberry jam and rosemary.
Notes
Make ahead of time, but do not bake. Store assembled pastries in the refrigerator and bake just before serving. Consider using other cheeses or herbs for variety.
