- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups whole milk

- 1 cup cooked sausage or ham, diced
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- Gravy for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a large mixing bowl until frothy.
- Grease your baking dish generously.
- Spread croissant pieces evenly across the bottom of the greased baking dish.
- Layer the diced sausage or ham, followed by the chopped onions and bell peppers, evenly over the croissants.
- Pour the egg mixture over the layers, allowing it to soak the croissant pieces thoroughly.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) the following morning.
- Remove the plastic wrap and sprinkle shredded cheese generously on top before baking.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until set and golden brown on top.
- Serve warm, drizzled with gravy if desired.
