Description

Delicious, crispy bites filled with spicy buffalo chicken, crispy bacon, and gooey mozzarella, perfect for game day or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese (cut into cubes)
  • 6 slices Cooked Bacon (crumbled)
  • 1 lb Ground Chicken
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Plain Flour
  • 2 large Eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko or Regular)
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling by mixing ground chicken, bacon, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl.
  2. Form the bombs by taking a golf ball-sized amount of the mixture and flattening it, placing a cube of mozzarella in the center, and rolling it into a ball.
  3. Coat the bombs in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and roll in breadcrumbs.
  4. Fry the bombs in hot oil for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown, turning halfway through.
  5. Drain on paper towels and let them cool for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead by assembling bombs a day in advance; fry just before serving for optimal crunch. Can be air fried or oven baked for healthier options.
