- 500 g Apricots, peeled and chopped
- 250 g Oranges, peeled and chopped
- 300 g Sugar
- 1 Lemon, juiced
- 1 bunch fresh mint, chopped
- 1 packet gelling agent (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the fruits: peel and chop the apricots and oranges into small, even pieces.
- Cook the chopped fruits with sugar and lemon juice in a heavy-bottomed pot over medium heat.
- Stir and simmer the mixture for 10-15 minutes, stirring continually.
- Add the gelling agent if desired, and mix well.
- Incorporate the chopped mint into the mixture after removing from heat.
- Jar the hot jam into sterilized jars and let them cool at room temperature.
- Store the jars in a cool, dark place for long-term preservation.
