Description

Experience the vibrant and refreshing blend of apricots, oranges, and mint with this delicious homemade jam perfect for breakfast or as a gift.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 500 g Apricots, peeled and chopped
  • 250 g Oranges, peeled and chopped
  • 300 g Sugar
  • 1 Lemon, juiced
  • 1 bunch fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 packet gelling agent (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruits: peel and chop the apricots and oranges into small, even pieces.
  2. Cook the chopped fruits with sugar and lemon juice in a heavy-bottomed pot over medium heat.
  3. Stir and simmer the mixture for 10-15 minutes, stirring continually.
  4. Add the gelling agent if desired, and mix well.
  5. Incorporate the chopped mint into the mixture after removing from heat.
  6. Jar the hot jam into sterilized jars and let them cool at room temperature.
  7. Store the jars in a cool, dark place for long-term preservation.

Notes

This jam is perfect on toast, yogurt, or as a gift. It tastes even better after sitting to allow flavors to meld.
